- Notes:
- Xenon is a heavy and extremely rare gas. It is inert, meaning it does not
- react with other elements and has an octet atomic structure. It is colorless,
- odorless, and tasteless. Xenon is used in high-speed photography for lamps that
- produce intense, short flashes of light. Xenon flash lamps are used to
- activate ruby lasers. It was the first noble gas to combine with other
- elements in 1962 by Neil Bartlet (that was previously thought to be
- impossible.)
